Pictures can be a help in meditation and prayer – but so too can be the whole process of creating the image.

Using camera, sketchbook or canvas come to Keld and prayerfully create an image reflecting something of what you find revealed in God’s world around us.

Led by Rev Stephen Collinson, a URC Minister and Licentiate of the Royal Photographic Society. He uses images and meditations as ways of stimulating reflection on faith.

New to Keld United Reformed Church is this series of images for meditation - A Swaledale Triptych. These images of Swaledale sheep link to word images of sheep in the Bible.

Supported by the CreateTalk initiative of the United Reformed Church, it is hoped these images and accompanying leaflets will provide a stimulus to meditation and discussion about these images of faith.

To further facilitate discussion, I will host CreateTalk Drop-In sessions from 28th July to 22nd September (Tuesdays 12-2pm, except 4 August when it will be 2-4pm, and 11 August when there will be no session). These will be an informal opportunity for anyone to call in and talk about the images and biblical themes.
