Keld Chapel regular activities.
Five times a year a minister, not necessarily of the URC denomination, lives in the adjoining manse for a week. He/She is there to welcome tourists and other visitors and also to conduct the service on the Sunday. In addition they hold prayers in the chapel, morning and evening, throughout the week. Keld Chapel plays an active part in events of the grouping of Anglican, URC and Methodist churches within Swaledale and Arkengarthdale called the Swaledale Christian Council. Events include Lent Courses, Christian Aid collections, Women's World Day of Prayer, Week of Prayer for Christian Unity.
Each Good Friday there is a walk down the dale to Grinton that starts with a short service at Keld. The Swaledale Christian Council has a stand at the Muker Show each year.
