Service and reflections for Holy Week

Come to one, some or all of these sessions that examine the questions that Jesus asked his followers.

A combined Keld and Low Row Church Meeting and AGM will be held at Low Row URC on Wednesday 8th February at 2.00pm.

Bible studies are usually held on the first and third Thursdays of each month at Low Row United Reformed Church at 2.30pm. They are led by Rev. Stephen Collinson. These are truly ecumenical and all are welcome whether of any faith or none. Come and see. The next will be on Thursday 9th November. There is a long gap just now as many people will be away.

Five times a year a minister, not necessarily of the URC denomination, lives in the adjoining manse for a week. He/She is there to welcome tourists and other visitors and also to conduct the service on the Sunday. In addition they hold prayers in the chapel morning and evening throughout the week. See under Sundays

Keld Chapel plays an active part in events of the grouping of Anglican, URC and Methodist churches within Swaledale and Arkengarthdale called the Swaledale Christian Council. Events include Lent Courses, Christian Aid collections, Women's World Day of Prayer, Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. Each Good Friday there is a walk down the dale to Grinton that starts with a short service at Keld. The Swaledale Christian Council has a stand at the Muker Show each year.
